Eco Council

What is Eco Council?

Eco Council is a group of pupils who meet regularly to discuss eco-friendly and environmental issues within school which prepares children to live their future lives with consideration for global issues. There are eco councillors from a range of classes and Key Stages across the school.

Why do we have an Eco Council?

-To ensure our school is eco-friendly and prepares pupils to live with reflection of the environment.

-To make sure each class has a platform to voice their opinions.

-To discuss and raise issues related to the environment.

-To discuss ways in which our school and community can promote sustainability.

This year, Eco Council will be working towards the RHS School Gardening Awards (Level 1, 2, 3). 

We will learn about the environment and the importance of biodiversity and sustainability and share this important message to the wider school community
