Our School Day

Children are not allowed to leave the school unaccompanied during school hours.

• Morning school commences at 8.45am and finishes at 12.00 noon (gates open at 8.40).
• Afternoon school commences at 1.00pm and finishes at 3.30 pm.

For security the school gates are locked promptly at 8.50am and 3.40pm.

Collection at the end of the day

• Children up to year 5 are handed over to parents at the classroom door. Please stress to your child that they must always wait with their class teachers until their grown-up arrives to collect them (if a child in Y4/5/6 is allowed to walk home on their own, please email the school office and confirm this in writing).
• Year 6 children are dismissed from the classroom. Please ensure your child knows where to wait for you or if they should walk home alone.
